Now through June 30th, 2024, Positive Attitude Aviation is offering a free Private Pilot Ground School AND a flight training stipend to a limited number of applicants.

That starts early by encouraging excellence in every student and using the best learning tools available. Anyone who is considering becoming a pilot will be required to learn lots of new concepts:

Get a credit towards flight training up to $750
Gleim Aviation is a leader in flight training ground school content. Their online ground school is award winning and designed for success. You will need to pay the initial $159 fee to enroll. Positive Attitude Aviation will credit the fee back to you once you’ve completed the course and passed the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test.
To get started follow these steps:
- Purchase a Gleim 141 Online Ground School Course for Private or Instrument here OR you may speak to a Gleim Expert at 800-874- 5346 ext 471 to purchase a course.
- Once you have purchased a course, you will be provided directions to create a Gleim account.
- Proceed to Gleim.com to login to your Personal Classroom where your purchased course will be available.
- When you begin your course, you will be required to select a Gleimpartnered 141 flight school. Select Positive Attitude Aviation.
Work at your own pace, wherever you enjoy studying. If you need some help with a particular subject our Certified Flight Instructors are available
for questions.
Once you have completed the Grund School you will be qualified to take the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test. Passing this test is a big accomplishment and an essential step towards becoming a pilot. A passing grade is a 70% or better and the exam is valid for 2 years.
Now that you’ve passed the Knowledge Test you are well on your way to becoming a pilot. Positive Attitude Aviation will help you continue the adventure by providing a credit towards flight training up to $750.
The window of opportunity to take advantage of this program is limited to the following deadlines:
- Complete the ground school and pass the FAA written by March 31st for a $750 flight training credit.
- Complete the ground school and pass the FAA written by May 31st for a $500 flight training credit.
- Complete the ground school and pass the FAA written by June 30th for a $250 flight training credit.

My instructor was Tony Ipinia and I couldn't have asked for a more proficient yet fun instructor for my first ever flight on a small airplane. Safety is number one priority for this school and Tony was constantly in touch with me before my actual flight. He made sure the weather was just right and gauged my comfort level before embarking on this flight. Now since I did have some prior flight sim experience, Tony let me do a few more maneuvers with the airplane while he was giving me constant constructive feedback. Throughout the session, Tony explained every little process and procedure in detail and answered all my questions that I always wanted to ask a real professional pilot. Even if you are not wanting to go to flight school, I think this is probably the coolest adventure you will ever have. So give these guys a try and you won't be disappointed.

Super nice folks, very safety-conscious (pushed our flight a few times to ensure wind conditions were safe and comfortable to fly). Really know what they're doing. Sofan is really friendly, very amenable to answering questions, and overall did a great job on the intro flight. Would highly recommend PAA for a discovery flight - very knowledgeable and nice folks!
